Here’s a dipping sauce from Lyle Schipper that can be used with either a regular Prime Rib or Deer or Elk Roasts.   

Pour juices and drippings off the cooked meat into a small saucepan.  (Don’t forget those little goodies stuck to the bottom of the pan either) 

Add the following: 

1 TBS …Crisco 

1 TBS …Kitchen Bouquet 

1 TBS …Beef Base 

½ TS…..Black Pepper 

1 ½ cups…Water 

A pinch each of Rosemary and Thyme 

Mix well while bringing to a boil.  Serve HOT.   

Note: Any left over sauce can be frozen for use at a later date.
